Our new Euhomy IM-18S ice maker works fine. I had to figure out what a slowly blinking white light means, since there's NO mention of it in the manual. Per one video I saw, it's simply what the unit displays when it's off. The blinking light means it's in "standby mode," ready to spring into action at a moment's notice, kind of like the fire department, I guess.The bigger issue is that I cannot register the product. The manual references using the WhatsApp phone application to register it, but although I successfully loaded WhatsApp, I cannot register the unit. I emailed Homyd (the parent company, I guess) with all the data about the unit, including serial number, date and place of purchase, etc., but all I got back was a form letter/email wondering if I was satisfied! I just tried responding to that form email. Not happy about that, but at least the unit is on standby and rarin' to go!!
Upon unpackaging the item from the box, I saw it had a dent.
Simple to use. And we use it every three days. I keep it close to the sink for ease of use, ease of keeping the reservoir drained and the internal cleaned. Our water quality is good out of the tap here, so the ice is great. The device is less noisy than a stovetop kettle or countertop purculator or microwave.

Call it lazy or call it genius, but when you’re fresh out of the shower and craving an iced drink, it’s a total power move.Despite being one of the cheaper ones, it works like a charm. It makes enough ice to fill my 40 oz Stanley (takes a small pitcher of water) It gives off a little hum while it’s working—nothing crazy, just a little “I’m doing my job” kind of vibe. And since it lives in the bathroom, the noise goes unnoticed.If you love pink, hate walking far for ice, and want to feel mildly ridiculous in the best way possible, this is the bathroom buddy you didn’t know you needed.I just wish it had a spot on the outside for the scoop to rest.I just got this will update later if necessary.
Works great for me. Not the biggest holding ice for a family. I bag mine out in deep freezer so always have ice for needs.
